Rabble is a tall, dark red Coonhound that has wonderful overall conformation. He has straight legs, tight feet and is well muscled.
Rabble is one of the nicest Redbone Coonhound competition dogs I have ever followed and is especially well suited for it. He is extremely competitive and will not be left behind in a cast of dogs no matter what the breeds he is hunting against. He runs for the front of the pack and hunts on the run. He strikes quickly and runs a track with a bawl but uses his mouth right, not too much and not too little.
Rabble locates quickly with a long warbling bawl and comes treed with a hard, steady chop.
I have heard some folks say that a good competition dog and a good coon dog are two different things and that a dog can't be both. In this case, it isn't true because Rabble is a good coonhound on an every night basis and he carries this over to competition. Some dogs will turn it up a notch when other dogs are around and Rabble is one of those.
Rabble is also very smart and is fully obedience trained. He will heel, load, fence, come, sit , walk back and will quit just about anything he is doing if you tell him to, except for when he is on a coon track.
As you can probably tell, we think very highly of Rabble. When you look below, at how he is bred, you will understand why. In addition to his qualities, he is bred from our line of hounds and carries some of the best blood in the Redbone Hound breed. |
