T-Top Kennel is a family operation run by me, Tom Solberg, and my step-son, Dave Patzner. Dave is my hunting partner, co-trainer and friend. My wife Charlotte and my son Jason are also involved with the day to day chores involved with keeping and caring for our REDBONE COONHOUNDS. Our goal is to improve the Redbone Coonhound breed and to make this line of Redbone coonhounds available to the public so that all of you can experience the same level of success and pleasure that we enjoy with these hounds. We know what a good Coonhound is and base this knowledge on over 40 years of experience hunting with dogs. We have found this line of Redbone Coonhounds to contain all of the characteristics necessary to fill our wants and desires in a Coonhound. I'm not easy to please but this line has met each of my criteria when it comes to grading a hound. To please me a hound must have... HUNTING ABILITY, GOOD TREEING INSTINCTS, GOOD LOOKS, GOOD CONFORMATION, INTELLIGENCE AND A SWEET DISPOSITION. We are realistic with our expectations and know that every dog we produce won't meet all of the criteria named above...it would be extremely unusual for any dog from any breed to have it all, but we have experienced more success getting what we want with this line of hounds and getting it CONSISTENTLY, than with any other. We no longer ship pups, this might change but for now all pups must be picked up here at our kennel location. |
